How it works

From stock to dialed-in, in plain English.

  1. Get your tune in. Import it straight off your vehicle with HP Tuners Connect, or upload your file. We validate it and tell you exactly what we found.
  2. Tell the AI what you want. Type it or say it — "cam swap, enable flex fuel, headers." It proposes every change and shows what each one does. Nothing is saved until you approve.
  3. Get it back. Your tune is built in real calibration software, step by step — watch it happen live. Then download it or flash it through your app, and datalog a drive to dial it in further.
What you get

A real tuning workflow, not a black box.

Plain-English AI tuningAI

Describe the build. The AI maps it to the right changes and explains each one before anything happens.

Watch it built liveLive

An honest live view of your tune being made in real calibration software — no fake progress bars.

Every save is a versionHistory

Each change forks a new revision with its own chat and diff. Compare, roll back, or branch anytime.

Datalog and iterateTune

Log a drive, send it back, and the AI computes corrections into a fresh revision automatically.

Safety-checkedGuarded

Changes run through hard safety checks before they are ever written to your file.

Through the glass

The build floor, live right now.

These are real GM calibrations being built on our floor right now -- not a mockup. Your tune is built and safety-checked here, then delivered to you as a review-only file to download and apply in your own editor.

Works with popular late-model GM, Ford, and Dodge vehicles. More platforms added regularly.

Garage

Welcome back.

This is your garage -- your cars live here. Add your first car to start, then chat, build, and iterate. Each car keeps its own tune, revisions, datalogs, and chats.

Tuning Day Workspace

Pick a car, upload, review, build.

Tap "Tuning Day" on a car in your garage above to work that car, or just upload a tune below. A datalog is optional but recommended -- without one the review is tune-only and should be verified with a log. Nothing is ever flashed.

Review-only: text2tune never flashes your ECU. We read your tune and build a modified .hpt for you to download, inspect, and apply manually in your own editor.

Let's get your first car in.

There are two ways to bring your tune in -- pick whichever fits how you work.

Import with HP Tuners ConnectRecommended

Link your HP Tuners account -- we email you an invite. Then read your vehicle on your phone with HP Tuners Connect and your MPVI, and it shows up here automatically. Nothing to upload.

Upload a fileManual

Already read your vehicle and have the file on this device? Drop it in and we take it from there.

Your HP Tuners Connect invite is emailed right after you confirm your account. Don't see it yet? Check your spam folder -- or just upload a file to start right now.
What happens next
  1. Get your tune in. Import with HP Tuners Connect or upload your file. We read it and tell you exactly what we found. You download the result and apply it in your own editor -- we never flash your vehicle.
  2. Tell the AI what you want. "Cam swap, enable flex fuel, long-tube headers." It asks anything it needs, then proposes every change for your approval -- nothing is saved until you say go.
  3. Approve and build. Your tune is built as a new revision. If you came in through HP Tuners Connect, it's pushed back so you can flash from your phone -- otherwise download it.
  4. Datalog and iterate. Log a drive, send it back, and the AI refines the tune from your real data.

Datalog & iterate

Log a drive, get it dialed in.

Record how the car runs, send it back, and you get findings plus corrections to review and save as a new revision -- then log again. You stay in control; nothing is ever flashed for you.

1. What to log
Loading the channel list for your platform...
2. How to log
Pick a drive (or just free-form it):
    3. Send your log for review
Got your log? Upload a .hpl or .csv file -- we read it, show the findings, and you accept the corrections into a new revision.
    4. Review, accept, repeat
After you send a log, the findings and the proposed corrections open in your tuning conversation. Accept them and they are saved as a new revision you can download or flash yourself. Then come back and log again to keep converging.
